A passion for skin care led this esthetician onto a slightly different path—waxing—specifically “facials” for a very intimate area.
She’s also an advocate for educating clients on the importance of after care, for waxing, and the best ways to care for our below the belt region.
Learn about her daily skin care regimen and the celebrity skincare crush whose skin is a “black don’t crack” dream.
What’s your name?
What’s the name of your business?
The Vanity Room Skin Studio
Where are you based?
What inspired you to become an esthetician?
I loved everything about skin, but once I started to wax, I became intrigued with making the vaginal skin area clear and beautiful.
What is your specialty?
I specialize in Brazilians and Vajacials.
What is your signature technique and approach to skincare?
My signature technique when treating a problematic area, is to figure out what regimen the client is used to and to then formulate a regimen that would help fix the problem.
What’s your skincare regimen?
My skincare regimen consists of: cleanse, tone, scrub, moisturizer, & day/night cream.
What’s your favorite serum?
My favorite serum is by Farsali, it’s called Liquid Glass.
What’s the one skincare product you can’t live without and why?
I can’t live without my gel moisturizer because I have dry skin and when I apply my moisturizer, it plumps my skin right into shape.
What’s your go-to food or drink that you feel supports your skin or gives it a boost?
WATER! I drink so much water to keep my entire body of skin replenished.
Do you have any skin sins? If so, what are they?
I do. Not using the proper products to clean my face. And not washing my face before bed.
What celebrity or influencer or notable person is #skincaregoals?
My favorite celebrity’s skin would have to be Tariji P Henson. Not only does her skin look amazing, but that black isn’t cracking and I love it.
What esthetician would you love to get a facial from?
I would love to get a facial by Taj Mahaly of Mahaly Spa.
Anything else to share?
Vagina care is just as important as your skin. After care for waxing isn’t talked about as much, but it is vital.
