THE NATIONAL BLACK ESTHETICIANS’ WEEK IS LIVE ON FEBRUARY 22, 2022

The third annual National Black Estheticians’ Week (NBEW) will be celebrated once again, during the last week of Black History Month, beginning Tuesday, February 22 and concluding on Monday, February 28.

While NBEW has strictly been a social media celebration in the past, this upcoming celebration will be a virtual event with various speakers from the skin care and beauty industry.

This year, we will be raising donations for the Tanya A. Haman Melanoma Research Fund, in conjunction with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, initiated by the Brown Skin Too Foundation, which was started by Tereska James, sister of Tanya A. Haman.

Supporting this Fund will go towards raising donations for education, awareness and the prevention of melanoma in the Black community.

Sephora and Skin Script have already committed to providing sizable donations to the Tanya A. Haman Fund.

Tereska James, Founder of Brown Skin Too Foundation will be speaking. We will also have a number of leaders from the professional esthetics community speak, such as:
And, the following will be providing promotional support:
Additionally, to further promote and jumpstart NBEW, SpaSho will be gifting a ticket to an Esthetician to attend The Skin Games. More details about the NBEW schedule, list of speakers and supporters, and other relevant information will be updated in the coming days.
