Lysandra Joy Leary

I’m Lysandra Joy Leary, an Esthetician and Beauty Educator at Bellus Academy in San Diego, Ca.

I practice results oriented skincare and beauty services that inspire women and men of color to feel good in their own skin. I’m the owner of House of Vine, my home-based skincare studio in the eclectic and creative neighborhood of Golden Hill, located San Diego, Ca.

I provide professional makeup, eyelash extensions, brow shaping and facials at House of Vine, a business built off of a desire to create a life that I’m obsessed with after making the scary decision to leave a stable career with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

My business name is in memory of my grandma, Elvina Joubert (nicknamed Vine), who instilled in me a love of beautiful things, dedication to family, a passion for a career, an adventurous life and a work ethic that demands results. In being a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, helping Veterans remains close to my heart. I believe the key to a full life is following your heart despite how difficult the circumstances seem be, it too shall pass, just breathe.
