What’s your name?
Lynette D. Jones
What’s the name of your business?
Lynette D Jones Esthetics, I’m a solo esthetician specializing in treating acne and hyperpigmentation
Where are you based?
Toledo, Ohio
What inspired you to become an esthetician?
I’m a life-long sufferer of acne. While looking for effective acne treatments, I fell in love with learning what ingredients promote positive changes within the skin.
What is your specialty?
I specialize in treating acne and hyperpigmentation.
What is your signature technique and approach to skincare?
By constantly tweeking my acne clients’ treatments and homecare regimens, our clients clear within 90 days. Prepping the skin prior to treatments allows our clients to achieve great results without complications.
What’s your skincare regimen?
I experience hormonal acne, so my regimen consists of Complexions Clinical Skincare’s Mandelic acid cleanser and serum, Kojic Acid Brightening Serum, BPO Acne Treatment gel and I always wear SPF.
What’s your favorite serum?
I have a couple that I love—one is my Mandelic Serum, and Brightening Serum; they keep my complexion even and help quickly fade any dark spots left from an acne breakout.
What’s the one skincare product you can’t live without and why?
Most definitely SPF 30—it protects my skin from daily sun exposure, premature aging and helps me maintain my even complexion.
What’s your go-to food or drink that you feel supports your skin or gives it a boost?
Water, Water and Water. Did I say water?
Do you have any skin sins? If so, what are they?
Sometimes falling asleep without doing my nighttime regimen, but not that often.
What celebrity or influencer or notable person is #skincaregoals?
Angela Bassett, she has beautiful skin.
What esthetician would you love to get a facial from?
Kathryn Leverette, so I can tap into her vast knowledge about treating acne and ethnic skin.
