Regina Taylor-Santiago, Esthetician and Multiethnic & Age Management Specialist

Developing an Age Management Skin Routine

“Having dry and dehydrated skin looks and feels awful,” says Esthetician, Regina Taylor-Santiago, who takes a progressive rather than aggressive approach to skin care.

This approach also extends towards the term: “age management” rather than anti-aging.

She works with clients, customizing treatments based upon the current state of their skin, while guiding them on the best home care treatments.

Read more about her holistic approach to skin and her healthy drink alternative to water, that’s full of antioxidants.

What inspired you to become an esthetician?

I actually struggled with my own skin and lacked confidence in myself, but when I began studying the science of skin and figured out how to care for “my” skin and saw the change in myself – both physically and mentally – I wanted to do the same for others!

What is your specialty?

Focus on multiethnic skin treatments, age management (as opposed to the term ant-aging), improving compromised skin and proper home care treatments.

What is your signature technique and approach to skincare?

All my treatments are customized to the individual and the current state of their skin. I take a progressive rather than aggressive approach, in a holistic manner.

I usually keep it basic in the morning with 4-5 steps and the evenings I do a double cleanse and add serums.

Bright Side Vitamin C

Moisturizer!!! Hydration is so important- having dry and dehydrated skin looks and feels awful!

Iced Green Tea – besides the antioxidants- it’s a better alternative to plain water.

Eating sweets! But I’m working on finding alternatives to feed the cravings.
